Rabbi Isaac Abarbanel (1437–1508) was the greatest Jewish thinker of his time, a prominent political figure in several Iberian states, and a prolific author. The first volume of the edition includes a translation of Abarbanel’s commentary on the first three chapters of the biblical book of Genesis.
