A pig farmer writes to the rabbi, a gay son to the pig farmer, an ex-wife to her wayward daughter. Letters fly between Nazareth, New York, Paris, and Tel Aviv. This touching, angry, and caustic correspondence develops into a novel, in which all the characters—offended, eccentric, but incredibly likeable—want the same thing: true love.
